The Basingstoke Ultra is a new point to point 33 Mile ultra marathon, coming to you on Sunday May 3rd 2020.
With car parking and race day registration in Basingstoke, the course will take you from the War Memorial Park onto trails to reach the village of Greywell at 10km and the start of the Basingstoke Canal. The route follows the canal towpath to Woking before a brief detour to our finish in the Wheatsheaf Recreation Ground.
Check out a map of the course HERE. There will be a variety of surfaces underfoot, but all will be firm at this time of year. The route is gently undulating in the first 10km (nothing nasty!) and after that, it's dead flat.
There will be feed stations at approximately 10km intervals. You'll be offered flat cola & water, along with sweet & savoury nibbles. If you'd prefer to stick to your own favourites, simply leave these with us at registration and we'll take them to the feed stations for you.
If you would like to have a change of clothes taken to the finish, a bag should be left at the bag drop at registration and it'll be waiting for you at the end.
At the finish there are toilets, showers and changing. The finish is located a short walk from Woking Train Station, where regular trains take 15 minutes back to Basingstoke.
